NYC SharePoint User Group – Introduction to SharePoint PnP (Patterns and Practices) – Presented by Tom Daly, SoHo Dragon
5:30 PM | Microsoft Office, Times Square
PLEASE NOTE, THERE IS NOW A NEW DATE FOR SEPTEMBERS USER GROUP MEETING. Due to the Microsoft Digital Transformation Summit this week, we were unable to get a Microsoft representative to attend today’s session, which requires us to reschedule. We are pushing this event back by one week from September 13th to September 20th. We apologize for the inconvenience and registration will stay open for another week.
Join Microexcel and SoHo Dragon, the exclusive sponsor of September’s meeting, on September 13th for the next NYC SharePoint Developers User Group meeting at the Microsoft Office in Times Square. The session for the evening will be “Introduction to SharePoint PnP (Patterns and Practices)” presented by Tom Daly, Senior Solution Architect at SoHo Dragon in NYC. SharePoint Patterns and Practices (PnP) is an open-source initiative coordinated by SharePoint engineering. This community controls SharePoint development documentation, samples, reusable controls, and other relevant open-source initiatives related to SharePoint development. If you are a SharePoint developer this is something that you absolutely must know.
In this session, we’ll discuss what PnP is, how to use it, staying up to date, and how to participate. The demonstrations will cover two major areas of PnP:
1) PowerShell PnP – Scripting Commands to admin, provision, manipulate your SharePoint environment/site
